Peta Caswell is fast earning a name as one of Sydney’s brightest and most promising alt-country vocalists and writers. With 2 decades of performing experience under her belt, she established herself in 2018 with her own material.

The first taste of Peta’s original work appeared on the celebrated Take Me To Town Australian alternative country compilation, with many singling her track out as one of the highlights of the release.

Now, she has formed her own band, The Lost Cause, and is putting it on record and on the road with the release of their self-titled EP. The band’s soulful alternative country rock sound perfectly complements one of the most powerful and distinctive voices that you will ever have the privilege of hearing.

With one listen to the opening track, Better With You, you’ll not only be blown away by her voice, you’ll also realise that talent runs deep in the family.

Peta is the niece of legendary Australian songwriter and singer, Allan Caswell, with whom she co-wrote (I Don’t Wanna Be) Your Baby Now for this release.

Peta and the boys have also put their spin on the Little Feat gem, All That You Dream.
